In this experience visitors gain knowledge and understanding of the environmental and creative inspirations influencing the strong wave of interest in Girringun art. The stories and environments of this ancient culture are authentically, originally transformed into visual images and designs by weavers, painters, potters, textile artists and makers of traditional objects. Girringun artists continue a close connection to “place” and honouring of Indigenous “lore” (traditions and knowledge).
